Waiting Visitors : Om Telolet Om

Vacation without spending money, of course, visit the nearby attractions. Although this could not be classed traveling. But strangely, nearby attractions usually even be a place that seems far away, so rarely visited. In my case, Bedul Block (Mangrove and Laguna) and Marengan Peninsula. The attractions only 5 km from my house, but the numbers of my visits more minor. It doesn't mean the place not interesting, that was absolutely wrong. Bedul Mangrove, Bedul Laguna, and Marengan Peninsula was beautiful place (I will make post about this place later).

But in this post I would not tell story about all of the place or how to get there, I would share about a little interesting part of the place, Monkeys. (Majority, Monkeys live in Marengan Peninsula that part of Alas Purwo National Park). By the way, when I was a kid and the place not was a tourism spot yet, I often go there for played canoes and saw monkeys. That time, monkeys always hide and difficult to sew. They were always in the deep of jungle of Alas Purwo National Park. Though sometimes looks, if they felt there are people, they will go back in to the jungle.

Now : They are more often on the ground and waiting humans to get foods

Today, the monkeys had a new behavior. When visitors comes to the Marengan Peninsula, they will welcome the visitors with joy (even tend to be brutal). They will be clustered near the pier. This was occur since many visitors who come to this place and gave them foods so they no longer fear with humans. They will be very happy if we throw food at them. Even now, we must be carefully, because they did not hesitate to seize what we bring. But they remain the attraction of the Marengan Peninsula which adds to the beauty of the beach.
